Monochrome
I love photographs that are void of colour. They let the viewer focus on shape, texture, tonal contrast, form and, of course, lighting. All of this without the distraction of colour.
Architecture and City Life
I find the study of architectural and urban settings fascinating. Although at first glance cities and streets seem mundane; through the lens, they take on a new perspective, and make strong, graphic statements.
Landscapes
Many people think of landscapes when they think of photography. These images encompass not only traditional land and seascapes, but also images taken at a much shorter focal length, focusing on objects often lost in larger vistas.
Animals and Birds
Birds, mammals, insects and even pets. This collection of images is all about animals.
Nature
I love being outside, I love hiking through the woods, I love looking at flowers. Nature photography gives me an appreciation for the world that we live in.
