In early 2012 I took a wonderful course in Architectural Photography taught by Rick Hulbert. It was a fascinating study in urban photography. We spent four days shooting around Vancouver, including an inside and up-close look at the Marine Building, another morning at the Athletes Village and one in and around the Yale town area. Rick is a wonderful speaker and instructor who is passionate about sharing his knowledge.
New York City – April 2011

In April of 2011 I travelled with my daughter to New York city for the first time. Unfortunately the weather was not very cooperative. As a result, I had to think of ways to try and capture the atmosphere of the city without getting soaked!
Colony Farm – Coquitlam BC

After purchasing my new Nikon D7000 and 70-200 mm f/2.8, I took a trip down to Colony Farm. Colony Farm is a regional park located in Coquitlam BC. Here I managed to befriend a great blue heron.
